The Instrumentation Analyst plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining standardized, scalable, and reliable client-side event tracking across RSI’s digital products. This role is responsible for translating tracking requirements into structured event specifications, enforcing instrumentation standards, and ensuring the quality and consistency of event data across web and mobile platforms. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics stakeholders, the analyst owns the centralized event registry, validates implementations through QA processes, and enforces governance across all instrumentation efforts. By ensuring event data is accurately defined and consistently implemented, this role enables trustworthy downstream measurement, reporting, and data activation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Product Management, Library Sciences, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience. - 3+ years in digital instrumentation, analytics implementation, QA, or data governance roles. - 2+ years of experience working with Product, Marketing, Engineering, or Analytics teams to define tracking requirements. - Foundational understanding of event-driven tracking systems, data layers, and client-side instrumentation patterns. - Experience validating event tracking in web and mobile environments, including debugging and monitoring tools. - Experience maintaining event registries, taxonomies, and enforcing data collection standards. - Exposure to tag management systems, analytics SDKs, and instrumentation workflows. - Ability to identify inconsistencies in tracking and recommend structured solutions. - Able to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
